Sage Curriculum is operated by Sage Advisors, LLC, a California limited liability company. References in these Terms to “Sage Curriculum,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean Sage Advisors, LLC.

These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Sage Curriculum. They're written in plain language because we want you to understand what you're agreeing to.

Who Can Use Sage Curriculum?

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You may have only one account (no sharing accounts with family members)
• You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account
• You agree not to impersonate anyone else or create fake accounts

Course Access & Pricing

One-Time Purchase Courses ($79–$149)

We offer three tiers:

• Essentials ($79): Full access to the complete curriculum with lifetime access
• Complete ($129): Includes all Essentials content PLUS 3 months of SentinelSense email security service and companion guides
• Gift Tier ($149): Includes Complete content PLUS 6 months of SentinelSense and family notifications at checkout

All courses provide:

• Permanent access to the course material from the date of purchase
• You can download copies of course materials for personal use
• Access continues for as long as Sage Curriculum operates (but see “Changes to Services” below)
• These purchases are NOT refundable after 30 days

Subscription Service ($12/month)

SentinelSense email security service:

• Monthly subscription provides email scam analysis and protection features
• Cancel anytime — your access ends at the end of your billing month
• If you cancel mid-month, you do NOT get a refund for that partial month
• If you don't cancel, your subscription automatically renews each month
• Annual option available at $99/year (equivalent to $8.25/month)

Gift Tier ($149)

• Includes Complete course content (Essentials plus all guides)
• Includes 6 months of SentinelSense email security service
• Includes family notifications: designated family members receive weekly summaries about account activity
• Non-refundable after the recipient has redeemed them
• Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
• The recipient (not the giver) can request access changes or cancellations

This guarantee does NOT apply to: Gift card redemptions (once used, they're non-refundable), purchases made more than 30 days ago.

Intellectual Property Rights

Our content is ours. All course material, text, video, images, and AI-generated content on Sage Curriculum is owned by Sage Curriculum or our content creators. You cannot:

• Republish, redistribute, or sell any Sage Curriculum content
• Make copies to share with others (even for free)
• Use course material for commercial purposes
• Remove or hide any copyright or ownership notices

You can share what you learn. You're welcome to:

• Tell your family and friends what you've learned
• Apply what you learn to your own life and projects
• Discuss course topics in conversation
• Share your own thoughts and experiences inspired by the course

Affiliate content remains owned by our affiliate partners (AARP, 1Password, etc.). We have permission to link to their content, but you may not reproduce it.

Important Disclaimer About AI

The AI chatbots on our course pages, the Trust This? email analysis feature, and the Living Update Feed are tools to help you learn and stay safe. They are NOT substitutes for professional advice.

• Financial decisions: Talk to a qualified financial advisor
• Legal questions: Consult a licensed attorney
• Health concerns: Speak with a doctor

AI makes mistakes. We review content carefully, but AI can be wrong. Always verify important information through trusted sources.

Your Content

If you submit anything to Sage Curriculum (questions to chatbots, comments, feedback), you give us permission to use your feedback to improve our service. We will not use your feedback to identify you publicly.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Abuse our AI chatbots (asking them to do things unrelated to learning, harassing them, etc.)
• Try to manipulate or “jailbreak” the AI assistants
• Use bots or scripts to scrape or automate Sage Curriculum
• Share your login credentials with others
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or break into Sage Curriculum
• Post spam, phishing attempts, or malware
• Violate anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights

If you violate these rules, we may suspend or terminate your account.

Changes to Services

Sage Curriculum may change or discontinue features, courses, or services at any time. If we discontinue the service entirely, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you and help you access any content you've downloaded.

We may also update course content, pricing, and features. We'll notify you of major changes by email.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sage Curriculum and Erik Newton are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (loss of data, lost profits, etc.), any claim arising from your use of the service, any third-party content or links, or interruptions or errors in the service.

Our maximum liability to you is the amount you paid for the product or service in question, or $100, whichever is less.

This doesn't limit our liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or death or injury caused by our negligence.

Data Deletion & EU/UK Data Rights

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. To request account deletion, email support@aiclassforseniors.com with the subject line “Delete My Account.” We will erase your account, course progress, chatbot conversation history, and any forwarded Trust This? email content within 30 days of receiving a verified request, subject only to records we are legally required to retain (for example, payment and tax records under U.S. and California law). Where legal retention applies, we will keep only the minimum data required and delete the rest.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you also have the rights of access, rectification, restriction, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent laws. Full details of these rights and how to exercise them, including our legal bases for processing and our approach to international data transfers, are in our Privacy Policy.

Sage Advisors, LLC acts as the data controller for all personal data processed in connection with Sage Curriculum. We will respond to GDPR and deletion requests within 30 days and will not charge you for reasonable requests.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any dispute will be handled in California state or federal courts.

User Conduct Standards

• Be respectful to other students and our team
• Don't harass, threaten, or defame anyone
• Don't discriminate based on protected characteristics
• If you believe someone is violating these terms, report it to support@aiclassforseniors.com

Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes by email. If you don't agree with the changes, you may cancel your account. Your continued use of Sage Curriculum after changes means you accept the new Terms.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, combined with our Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure, make up the entire agreement between you and Sage Curriculum. If any part of these Terms is invalid, the rest remains in effect.
